Listen to our second interview on the common grounds podcast!

We recently went back on the Common Grounds podcast from Roasters Marketplace a second time in order to talk specifically about two new things:

We talk about plenty of other things too, because we always have a great time with host Chris Greenfield!

Listen to our interview on the veteran on the move podcast!

We had a great time with host Joe Crane, discussing our entrepreneurial journey as Navy veterans. We share Project Buna’s origin story, lessons learned (some the hard way), and of course… a few fun stories.

wake up at 5am with our coffee and other tips from ginny

Ginny curates an awesome blog for modern work-at-home moms. In her realistic tips for how even tired people can wake up regularly at 5 AM, our coffee is part of “making your morning the highlight of your day!”

“I mentioned earlier that I make sure my cup of coffee is brewing at 5:05. This is non-negotiable. Like most people on the planet, coffee keeps me going.

Because no early morning should exist without coffee, I have to share my new favorite small-batch coffee roasters, Project Buna. You guys, this coffee is GOOD.”

our review on pull & pour - your guide to everything coffee

Andrew is a coffee enthusiast who curates a fantastic website and blog called Pull & Pour on all things coffee. He reviewed one of our very first coffees, Project 2.

“It has a sweet berry aroma with some incredible blueberry and raspberry flavor notes… It was quite clean, well-balanced and carried with it a nice honey, caramel sweetness.

Project 2 was a great naturally processed Ethiopian coffee. It surprised me with its fruit-forward attributes while staying true in other areas to what I expected from this style of coffee from this region in Ethiopia. Project Buna is just getting started, but I’m excited to see how they grow and the other great coffees they release in the future.”
